This is the kitchen you will have for years, so make sure it is one you will be happy with. The last thing you want is to have to remodel everything in a year or two because you are not happy with the job you are doing now.
Take every detail into account from lighting, to pantry space and cabinets, to countertops and finally flooring. If you are not happy with any one aspect of your new kitchen, you will have failed in your mission to create the perfect kitchen. So think things out. Figure out what you want and then go for it.
