It’s time to remodel your kitchen and you want to get it right. You don’t just want a functional kitchen you want the perfect kitchen. But as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The perfect kitchen is what you want it to be. So there is no one answer on how to obtain that killer kitchen you have always wanted.

The good news is that you already have the blueprints…in your head. You know what you want. You have been daydreaming about marble countertops, double sinks and pantry closets for years. So design a kitchen that will make you happy. Don’t settle for ordinary be extraordinary.

This article from Ask The Builder explains how you can accomplish the previously unthinkable by building YOUR perfect kitchen.

The first thing you need to do is to think outside the box. If you want something special, go for it. If you don’t like where the water or gas lines are, have them moved. Don’t settle for leaving the oven where it is just because it is easier. If you want your oven on the other side of the room, go for it. That is what will make you happy. A little extra work for a lifetime (or at least a few years) of happiness is well worth it.

The second thing you need to do is to think big. Don’t settle for less, shoot for more. Why get a conventional sink when you could have a double sink installed? This is the kitchen you will have for years, so make sure it is one you will be happy with. The last thing you want is to have to remodel everything in a year or two because you are not happy with the job you are doing now.

Take every detail into account from lighting, to pantry space and cabinets, to countertops and finally flooring. If you are not happy with any one aspect of your new kitchen, you will have failed in your mission to create the perfect kitchen. So think things out. Figure out what you want and then go for it.
